Ramayana Restaurant - King Power Downtown Complex

Inspired by the defining literature of Thai culture and history, the Ramayana Restaurant at the main Bangkok complexes lives up to the glory of the legends. The centerpiece is a main dining hall, watched over by a massive 60-metre mural depicting the epic battle between demons and humans in the jungle, evoking the famed magical forest, Himmapan.

Adjacent to the main hall are two more dining sections – these continue with the Ramayana fable and are themed as per the main characters of the fable. The Thosakan room, decorated with various hues of green, evokes strength and power, as per the antagonist of the story, whilst the Hanuman room plays with the calming hues of white and is decorated with intricate filigree designs, to reflect the pure spirit of the protagonist. The symbol representative of Hanuman, the conch shell, is also used in the design of this room.

Ramayana Restaurant has two outlets, with the main one being a 600-seat restaurant on the 3rd floor of the King Power Downtown Complex RangNam, and the other one at King Power Complex Srivaree with a capacity of 1500 seats to welcome guests from around the world. The extensive buffet service has a variety of Chinese, Japanese, European and Thai cuisines, with seafood selections that prove very popular with customers.

Both restaurants also give guests a taste of Thai with cultural performances to entertain them as they eat, such as Aksra Theaters traditional puppet theatre performances. Ramayana is open for lunch and dinner.
